Fremont Tire was founded in 1976 by Frank Froehlich. In the early years, Fremont Tire, Inc. sold strictly commercial tires to local fleets in the Siouxland and Fremont, Nebraska areas. Fremont Tire is currently located at 3324 Highway 75 North.

Over the years, Fremont Tire has grown and settled, primarily serving a 35-mile radius of the Sioux City area, including its subsidiary, T&W Tire.

T&W Tire was purchased in February 1992. It is a well-established company, serving similar types of customers for over 50 years. Consequently, we kept its name because if it. T&W Tire is located at 309 Court Street.

Fremont Tire built another store in South Sioux City at 2419 Cornhusker Avenue in 1988.

They also have a warehouse full of tires touting the countries finest manufacturers like Bridgestone, Firestone, General, Bandag, and more at 301 Floyd Boulevard.

All three stores specialize in commercial and passenger tire sales and related services like oil changes, brakes, air conditioning, starters, batteries, shocks, starters, suspensions, tune-ups, radiator flushes, and more.

Fremont Tire and T&W Tire also take pride in supporting local high schools, churches, child and senior establishments, and local civic and service organizations.

In September of 2006, Frank sold the business to his longtime managers, Shara Bras, president of the company, Larry Barkley, manager of the Highway 75 location, Jon Froehlich, manager of the South Sioux City Store, and Barry Froehlich, manager of the T&W Tire store.
